We  unfortunately have to inform you that on last Monday’s IMAPP PC Meeting, it was decided to withdraw the International Meeting for Aviation Support Processes 2009.

Obviously the worldwide economic crisis implicates the disadvantage of not having the desired perception and support of the Aerospace Industry. But even more dramatically this has been reflected in the limited response from our European neighbours and international partners.

After three extensions of the Call for papers (CfP) deadline and the personal commitment of the PC-members we did not received the necessary amount of qualified abstracts. Combined with the fact that only 10 percent of the submitted abstracts came from outside of Germany, it was not possible to realize a Conference programme which meets the expectations of our international Aerospace community. Therefore unfortunately the logical consequence was to withdraw IMAPP 2009.
